On May 9, on the occasion of Victory and Peace Day the RA President Armen Sarkissian, the RA NA Speaker Ara Babloyan, His Holiness Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, officials, the highest commanding officers, foreign diplomats accredited to Armenia visited Victory Park laid wreaths and flowers at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, paid tribute to the memory of the heroes who had sacrificed their lives for the defense of the Fatherland and for peace.

The officials congratulated the war veterans, the military, and visited the field kitchen being traditionally organized on the occasion of Victory and Peace Day.
